i'm not really expecting the world to completely wake up to the awful long term if not permanent effects these meds can have on someones brain until something better comes out and puts the meds they are using now to shame. that could be 100 years from now though. i've been talking to a pharmacist for the past few weeks ad he is helping me find something to help get my brain back to normal functioning. he understands how these meds can possibly screw up someones brain... he is acknowledging the problem and helping me search for a way to fix it.. instead of saying that i am making it up. or that it is untrue. i even talked to my psychiatrist about this pharmacist and he said "he is a genius when it comes to medication".
and the pharmacist said something that i truly agree with last week, that "there is one thing that drug companies are out for, and that one thing is not your health"
he even described to me how the medications out now are in no way healthy for the brain, and that drug companies are treating mental illnesses the wrong way. and then he told me about the direction they should be taking to treat mental problems with medication.
