Good idea.

Clomipramine is the tricyclic that most resembles Effexor in its ability to inhibit the reuptake of both serotonin and norepinephrine. Side effects are pretty strong for most people, though.

I am currently taking a combination of Viibryd (SRI + 5-HT1a partial agonist) and nortriptyline (NRI + 5-HT2a antagonist). The side effects of Viibryd are minimal for me. I am not experiencing apathy nor sexual side effects. I think this could be a winning combination for some people. Hopefully, it will be for me.
