All he needs is the insurance card, a copy of it, or the information on it. When you make an appointment, they will likely want that information ahead of time so they can verify your coverage.
What you need to know, though, is that when the claim is processed, your parents will get a copy of the EOB (Explanation of Benefits), which will show them (among other things) your name as the patient, the date of the visit, and the doctor's name.
