Do you take the risperdal in the morning? Its possible the risperdal is wearing off by the afternoon. Maybe a afternoon dose. But you don't like the risperdal, why? Should you take a different AP? Maybe abilify or zyprexa? Abilify would be more energizing, zyprexa more calming.
