D cycloserine.

From Wiki...........

"D-Cycloserine (DCS) is being trialed as an adjuvant to conventional exposure-based treatments for anxiety disorders. The psychotropic responses are related to D-Cycloserine's action as a partial agonist of the neuronal NMDA receptor for glutamate and have been examined in implications with sensory-related fear extinction in the amygdala.[1]"

Years ago Firebreather on the Alternative Board said that impossibly large doses of the very hottest chillies or capsaican actually affected the amygdala. It sounded very painful.
