I was just given some Zofran for nausea following a bad viral infection that left me severely dehydrated. I got it in an IV, but then I filled a prescription for some more. I haven't had to use it, but I want to have it on hand.
It worked great for the nausea along with some sort of percocet type thing. I did not sleep well in the bed in the quiet section of the ED, and I felt agitated and antsy with some twitchiness. I'm now wondering whether this is a side-effect of the zofran. I had a bad twitching problem on Prozac after a few years, and since therapy did more for that depression, I just went off of it. Zoloft never caused me that problem.
