I'm afraid that I haven't tried it. Are you taking it as a low dose to treat depression? If so, you could consider low-dose of lithium if you're not comfortable with the flupentixol. Low dose lithium has been show to boost the effect of anti-depressants.

One benefit of lithium over low dose antipsychotics is that lithium serum levels are monitored by your prescribing doctor via blood tests. There's no real way of testing antipsychotics which can lead to tardive dyskinesia.
