Hi.

For me, both drugs were nearly as effective when combined with a tricyclic. However, I find that Nardil produces a "brighter" mood and an improvement in anhedonia. Parnate tends to poop-up on me more so than Nardil. I found Marplan to be less potent than either Nardil or Parnate. Yet, there are people who do better on it. I don't think one can conclude that all three of these MAOIs are equipotent for any one individual. If Parnate fails, Nardil could very well produce a robust improvement and vice-versa.
