If you are going to take the medication and you aren't an idiot, you will follow the restrictions. If you eat certain foods that are restricted, your blood pressure can skyrocket and you risk the chance of dying. You can eat non-aged meat and drink any beer that isn't from the tap. If you are more concerned about the diet than your depression, then you aren't really that depressed, and should maybe get some more exercise or do occasional therapy. Anyone who is depressed is far more concerned about alleviating their condition than they are about restricting their diet. Best of luck to you and don't mess around with the diet.
