My Rx plan considers all generic SSRI's interchangeable and some other classes of AD's as well, as SUBSTITUTES unless documentation of failure or intolerance on the drugs they wish for substitution. I don't think they consider the drugs the SAME as chemical make up is different.....They just want a lower cost med used if possible.

Thus far, I have been successful in getting coverage but it's the same paperwork hoops every single year... Same documentation ... Maddening and does not make sense to me.
