That is interesting you mention Vail, Colorado. I suppose it's a snow place. Lots of Australians now go to the US and Canada to work in the ski fields. My son has been twice, my nephew once, my daughter will go soon.
Some kids from the school my kids went to stayed there. They are now out of jail. I don't know how or why, I wondered if they got hold of coke or whether they felt invulnerable. Anyway, they held up a bank with (I think) toy guns, took the money to a Macdonalds and photographed themselves with it, threw it in a bin, and tried to catch a plane to Mexico and were arrested at the airport. They served maybe 3 years in jail in the US.
The school headmaster here was so good with that, he said 'These are our friends and family and always will be' and so on. I was very touched by the way he handled it.
'She'll be right' is a traditional way here of saying no worries.
