Hi Gristlad,

By all means if your insurance will pay for it, have one custom-made. It means a little time at the dentist but it will fit you perfectly and it should last a few years.

I've tried the over-the-counter ones and they were generally very flimsy compared to the one I still have that was made by a dentist years ago.
