Zyprexa, when 'Generic form' comes to the market?

Posted by HappyGirl on December 9, 2010, at 9:22:08

Hi:
I've been taking 'Zyprexa' for many years and it's a 'life-saver' to my Bipolar II with rapid cycler. However, it's also a very expensive med., even though my current insurance paying.

Because, my health insurace changes in January, 2011, just wonder whether new pdoc. is willing to follow my med. combo., one of which is Zyprea.

Due to economical reason nowadays, I'm aware of 'price-cutting' methods among docs., including pdocs. For that reason, most of docs. prescribes 'generic form' or substitute med. as much as he/she can.

Just wonder when Zyprexa becomes 'Generic' and comes to the market in US?

Thanks,
