So, I just started (a month ago) a low dose (75 mg) of Effexor and I must say that besides some almost manic-like symptoms, I am liking this drug. I find that I have no side effects beyond a bit more energy that I am used to and that's not a bad thing. I have done a little reading and was surprised to hear that this drug is sometimes used for ADD? Am I right in my interpretation of what I have skimmed? I used to take clonazapam for a time--nightmare to get off of, but wow, I loved that drug. I decided to go off of it because I felt uncomfortable by having to visit the doc every 3 months for a refill. At times, I feel I still need some kind of anti-anxiety med. Any good one out there that I don't have to take on a regular basis? More of a prn kinda thing? Thanks:)
