I live in St. Paul, MN. Every pdoc seems to have wait lists. I'm looking for someone who has experience in ptsd, which is quite difficult, unless it's at the va, and I'm not a vet. I've had good and bad experiences with nurse practitioners and for awhile I just had my family practitioner, but I (and my husband) think that an actual pdoc would be more helpful...it's been so frustrating. I seem to have some drug-resistant issues (insomnia is the biggest) and an actual psychiatrist might be able to help address these issues. Right now I'm taking lamictal, effexor, busbar and seroquel and i'm holding steady, but I really think it could be better...Thank you!
