I don't have asthma but when thyroid first failing could hardly take a deep breath chest hurt so bad. I somehow had a doc cause of increased anxiety check thyroid and it was elevated. Started on.25mcg and on day l0 ears felt like they popped open and felt alive again. Now at the time wasn't really familiar with thyroid or numbers. Mine is l.5 now the endo likes this as mine says between l-2 is good. But don't feel well on it anyway. I see the hormone doc for labs first for female and testosterone usually includes a thyroid also. Might just switch to where hormones are compounded for me to the armour as they are doing it there. Reason I suspect your doc doesn't like it is source is pig and it can vary from batch to batch. Phillipa
