Cetirizine-a mood brightener?

Posted by med-amorphosis on May 20, 2010, at 7:18:19

Anyone else notice any mood-lifting or anxiolitic effects from the non-sedating antihistamine cetirizine? Loratadine & mizolastine tend to still make me groggy. But cetirizine is never drowsy, and actually feels like it has some short term mood lifting properties. I swear it helps stop constant non-stop crying. Maybe slightly activating too. Maybe its just me. Any comments?

So many ADs effect histamine. And then theres histadelia too.
