It's hard to remember because it's been a while since I took it, but I think that I started noticing benefits after about a week or two on Wellbutrin. For me, Wellbutrin's benefits were rather weak, and I actually noticed a little bit more of an antidepressant effect after I started taking lithium carbonate with the medication. Altogether, I was on Wellbutrin (SR) for about two years.

Good luck with the medication. I hope you experience more pronounced antidepressant benefits on it than I did.
