I went through a phase where I thought I had CFS. It lasted for about a year. You should treat your condition as depression, because they're no cure for CFS anyway. I turned out to get much better on antidepressants.

There is a lot of misleading information on the internet. Just be careful. If it's not part of mainstream medicine, treat it with extreme suspicion.

It sounds like your depression may be leading you toward what they call mood-congruent delusions. Don't give up on psychiatry.
