Is nefazodone safe?

My pdoc said that the 17 liver failures from nefazodone only a occurred as an isolated incident one time in Canada. Is this true?

Should I be concerned if I have elevated bilirubin? My other liver functions are normal, but I have some genetic thing where i don't breakdown bilirubin as well as others. My pdoc knows this and thinks its fine.
