I'm so happy you posted how you're doing. I was about to post you! I figured you were doing well because your posts have been upbeat (not manic).I have been wondering if one of the reasons you're doing so well is the nortriptyline? I think it is, with me, but then how would I know what it would be without it. I only take 25mg and I'm going to ask my pdoc if I can take 12.5mg because I'm sleeping too late in the morning. But I don't want to mess around with it very much because I feel closer to "normal" (whatever that is) than I have for years.
And the Provigil is a must for me, otherwise I'd just be too tired all the time. I hate taking a stimulant because I think it could poop out on me like dexedrine did. I don't increase it, so maybe I'll be OK. I stick to 100-200mg. period.
I think that's wonderful you feel so well, but yet you know you might need to augment Parnate a little more with a mood stabilizer. Augmenting Parnate properly seems to make the magic with it.
I don't know a thing about Geodon or any other stabilizers except that Lamictal made me unable to walk or use my arms properly. Like MS or something. Awful. We are all so different it is amazing!
I hope you can find something that doesn't dumb you down but helps you keep level. I love the clear headedness I've gotten on Parnate. I'm not bipolar but I can feel myself having some mood swings on Parnate. I'm wondering if it is my diet.I'm so very happy you are doing well!!!! You deserve it!! You surely went through the agonies of the damned getting there!! Good for you having the guts and persistence to see it through!!! AND, foresee any potential problems!
