Thanks, d/r, for your knowledge. Guess now I'll google glutathione and propargyl. So much to learn! My pdoc was mentioning glutathione today and, frankly, it flew over my head.

Time to research!

> there is probably some level of protection against MAO-metabolized pro-toxins that you get from any MAOI, but the thing about selegiline was the propargyl group which increases glutathione at least when taken at low doses. don't nkow how common protoxins are in the diet/environment.
