They can be helpful, but they are also habbit forming (maybe more than a benzo such as xanax). I really don't like the 'crash' either is sometimes is hard to get the prescriptions filed due to them being a schedule II. I actually like provigil (maybe even better than say Dexedrine). What about trying Nuvigl instead (if Provigil pooped out). Another option would be going to 400mg provigil.
