I was reading zonegrans offical data sheet,and read this.So basicaly according to this all anti epilectic drugs,aka mood stablizers are associated with severe depression,hmm.
In fact from what they say,saizure patients on these drugs,not depressed are to be now watched for the onset of depression due to the treating drug.WOW.
Now i never hold to one one single pieace of data,ive read tons of info on the effectivness of mood stablizers.
However to focus on this statement,and then to focus on the new concept of treatment of taking anti depressants away from bipolar people and using anti epiltic meds,aka mood stablizers as mono therapy when if i were to believe the statement they are known to induce depression scares me.
Again im not posting this because im in total agreement with it,however its from an official data sheet,so i thought it worthy enough to share,id love opiions on this,seems kinda scary to me if it were true,if it were true then we are sooo on the wrong track of treatment.
