Have you tried Ativan? I had it once--no idea what the dosage was--and I was asleep in seconds. It was by injection after my c-section was over, and I was having a very adverse reaction (an understatement) to something. Ativan stopped it completely and I slept for hours. Also, I think it is more difficult to overdose on this.
