I'm so sorry to hear that Scott. I guess there must be a lot of us out there.
There's obviously no bitterness there. You're clearly a very understanding and forgiving person.
I just had a discussion with my wife where she claimed the deterioration started 7 years ago, but it's clear things wouldn't have got this far had I not been chronically depressed for the last year.
