It's a very very weak reuptake inhibitor! It's a much more potent 5ht2a/2c antagonist.
That's probably why it's not used as an antidepressant often at all but as a potent sleep aid.
So especially at lower doses you probably won't experience any 5HT reuptake blocking effects!
I'm using trazodone since 2 years with good success. I think it's a slo great that there seems to be no weight gain with Trazodone (but it's making me a bit foggy during the day that's why I wanted to discontinue it, also the fact that it's metabolized to mcpp isn't that nice, but I like it much more than Seroquel!!)
