Cognative dulling

Posted by Zana on June 21, 2009, at 9:38:38

OK. I think what I am experiencing isn't exactly depression. I think it is cognative dulling, like I feel it's hard to think of things to say when having dinner with friends. I just feel dull, intellectually kind of empty.
Best quess: it's the klonopin or the seroquel. 3mgs of the first daily; 150mgs of the second. I have a rough idea of how to go about reducing the klonopin- very, very slowly. What about the seroquel? My pdoc had me going down 50mgs every 3-4 weeks. We stopped because I started feeling worse. This was before I was on the increased dose of pristiq (100mg)but I stopped decreasing it at that point. I had been 300 mgs. Does 50mgs every several weeks sound right?
Which would you start experimenting with? I am leaning towards the seroquel since I think it is less likely a problem and because it may be easier to reduce. On the other hand, I did have a problem reducing it before...
Any advice?
Thanks.
