It probably will continue to do whatever it is doing to your system to slow metabolism or increase hunger just like some other atypicals.
I have a rather substantial weight gain from Seroquel, which I need.Its not anybody's fault -- but simple things like attempting to cut down on food (which is -really- hard, I know) and get some simple exercise, walking, jogging, etc, will at least keep it at bay if not reverse it some.
Having fasting glucose tests is always a good thing, but diabetes does not necessarily follow weight gain and vice versa. Every 3-6 months or so should be plenty.-- Jay
