Not sure on this,someone prob knows more deinftaly,but i believe u want a nmda anti-gonist which would mean stopping or slowing that receptor leads to gaba working better as gaba works oppisite nmda and that nmda is nuerotoxic.
A drug that works on NMDA a lot is found in cough syrup,dxm..again im not sure if this drug ehances it nmda,or if u want to enhace nmda,far as i know enhancment of it can be dangerous to your brain and most gaba meds are anti nmda antgonist,i could be on the wrong side of this statement however,i never fully understand glutamate and its fucntion fully with the brain.
