I can't see how it would, as wellbutrin doesn't have a strong enough effect on dopamine to counteract the serotonergic effect of the paxil.

Could be some other mechanism though I guess. Wellbutrin has as a bad rep for causing anxiety for some people, but not necessarily by interacting with other meds.
