Concerns/questions switching Zoloft to night time.

Posted by Z Brothy on March 24, 2009, at 21:06:40

Hey guys - I've been taking Zoloft for about 4 years now and it's worked well for my OCD/anxiety and I've always taken it in the morning. Yesterday I tried taking the dosage(150) at bedtime to alleviate the fatigue it causes me during the daytime. Well, today in the afternoon I started to feel "down" and still do. So my question is this: when does a dosage peak in my body? like if i took it at midnight last night? is that sort of what i feel, like the dosage is "dropping off"?

Also, I used to take 200mg which worked better for me, but made me too tired and had too much sexual problems. Earlier in the month when i tried to go back up to 200mg i was at it for like a week, maybe a week and a half. When i went back down to 150mg...does that mean i have to let the medication build up to a certain level again for a few months even though I was taking more of it and not less? Thanks

P.S. Is this second thing related to the first?

P.P.S. I noticed the fatigue I get during the day causes me to need a 3 hour nap after getting 9-10 hours of sleep the night before - but it's always been helpful in keeping down my OCD during the day.

Thanks in advance you guys.
