It didn't do much for my anxiety - however, I only went up to about 200mgs of the stuff. Maybe I should have increased it further but my psychiatrist wasn't keen on the idea of increasing it as I'm not psychotic. I found that it didn't really sedate me either. Again, maybe an increase above 200mg is what's required for me.
Zyprexa did help my anxiety a bit but only at 10mgs and above. Anything below was pretty useless. Again my psychiatrist didn't want to keep me on such a 'high' dose (in his opinion) and so he stopped prescribing it. Weight gain was a hell of a problem for me though with the Zyprexa!! Didn't have any at all with Seroquel.
