well i'm all for use of safe drugs like benzos. maybe theres some other option if you can't get your doctor to prescibe them:
have you tried baclofen or gabapentin?
coQ10 might help, ESPECIALLY if you are on a statin or possibly beta-blocker.as far as the arthritis itself, fishoil, vitamins d & k. actually a number of antiinflamitory supplements could help, SAMe is very good although expensive.
seeing a private doctor might be expensive, but benzos themselves are quite cheap, if you decide to go that way. good lukc getting the treatment you need.
