Hi,
I tried rTMS in Vancouver a few years ago and didn't find it effecive. I do know somebody who has found it effective though. He suffers from atypical type of depression though, sleeping all the time and slowed thinking.
From what I have read Israel are now doing trials with something called Deep Magnetic Stimulation which is supposed to penetrate deeper into the brain than standard transcranial magnetic stimulation.
