Remeron, while helping with sleep, is primarily an anti-depressant, so it doesn't "clear" from your body quickly, i.e., it stays with you, even around the clock, depending on your body chemistry etc.
Don't discontinue by yourself, as it is an AD and you may experience a lowered mood. If you do want to stop wait till your appt. Then talk to your doctor.
How did it work for sleep?
