Now I am completely numb to everything and cognitively screwed up, sexually impotent, this is during and now post medication. I went on this sh*t because I was just a little down. I was on the ssri's prozac, paxil and lexapro and I just never felt the same afterwards. I'm thinking of trying something like wellbutrin to get out of this hell, but I am hesitant to rely on any of this, since this poison is what got me into this mess in the first place
Well that does clarify things. First, did those SSRI's help you, ever? I hate ssri's and wouldn't take one for a day. But I know I am deficient in dopamine and I need to take care of that and I am."Why, exactly would I consider more drugs?" I think thats a good question. Why would you? It sounds like now you are going to a different class of meds, is this the same PDoc as before? I'm wondering why your PDoc prescribed 3 ssri's if you weren't responding to any of them. Maybe he's making the rounds of the different neuro's
Ask him why he chose Wellbutrin, is it based on your specific symtoms? How long does he expect that you'll be on it? You may need to augment that at some point. It worked really well for me for about a month, with energy etc. then I started getting irritable. Maybe you could be ready if that time comes.Good Luck, sorry those ssri's stunk so bad for ya.
