Depression is a tough illness, I figure, and these statistically driven trials seem a fairly crude method to use for research. Or they do to me, anyway. I would hope that part of the problem is with the -precision- of placebo-controlled trials, rather than the inefficacy of the treatments available (though obviously that is also an issue). So I hope.
