I think the coffee help a lot for social anxiety...maybe it seem to be not very strong...but some studies show that it's make more interractions between people on it, they are more sociable than usual, more confident...but for general anxiety, coffee is not very good, it's make you think more about your personnals problems.

Ritalin is not very strong and don't stay a long time in your system, maybe concerta of focusin-XR version will be a nicer choice. One thing is sure, stimulant are addictive, in the same way than the benzo drugs. IF you don't have ADD problem and just lacking energy like me, you should avoid them because you will increase the chance to became addicted on them.

For the others, I don't try them. I know that Provigil (Modafinil), a drug test on the soldiers of the gulf war back in 1991, is less addictive...but it's expensive...Adderall-xr seem to be also a good choice, but that's also very expensive.

For now, i'm experiencing a nice energy level on an old AD (Parnate) + coffee...especially in the morning...but I can't encounter the usual lack of energy in the PM and the need to do a nap in the afternoon...so coffee is my friend for now, since I don't want to blend an old MAOI with a stimulant...Since stimulant higher the blood pressure and the Parnate also, I don't want to end up at the hospital...
