My best antidepressant so far has been desipramine, which has big norepinephrine action and gave me a rapid heartbeat and palpitations, which was confirmed with the heart test showing sinus tachycardia. A beta blocker was added (mine is nebivolol), which not only slows down the pulse, it also helps decrease anxiety for me (that was mainly as a side effect of the desipramine).
