I do believe those horrible rashes were only found in children, so of course Provigil hasn't been approved for treatment in pediatric patients, where I assume the majority of ADHD treatments begin. So, is it safe for children? Probably not; even if the risk of developing these rashes is very small, the severity of the reaction is such that the risk doesn't outweigh the benefit. But in adults, this doesn't seem to be the case, as I don't think there have been any rash reactions reported.
