Subdued? Glassy eyes but feeling fine.

Posted by Jakeo29 on December 17, 2008, at 15:02:42

I can tell I am on the effects of a few stimulants Provigil, Strattera (non-stimulant-stimulant), and 72 /mg/day Concerta for Narcolepsy and ADD- Along with the Depakote, Lamictal, Zoloft, Risperdal for Aspergers. I feel more awake and mood seems quite stable, "normal" feeling. However, I see my eyes are glassy (makes my eyes look really good looking though). My therapist response to me on the stimulants is "subdued" as if I am Valium. Interesting to say that stimulants are slowing me down that much as if I am on a sedative, but feeling more awake at the same time, as if the world around me is slowed down a bit. Is glassy eyes OK when on these meds-I mean they are not extremely glassy, just bright. Thanks -Jake
