Most new medications are about $3-$4 a pill, and it varies wildly as to how much your insurance is going to cover that.
Only generic benzodiazepines and beta blockers get down to 50c to $1 a pill, give or take.
And cancer emetics, like granisetron and the other 5HT3 blockers, before they stopped putting price quotes at the online sites of pharmacies, I saw one at $25 a pill.
