Well theres a lot of overlap with the catecholamines...norepinepherine may be involved in wakefullness too, inhibitory d2 heteroreceptors...moderate doses of DA agonists are usually sleep-inducing. I'd give one of those a try, and they aren't fun/abusable so i'd think you could get one, if you had a doc willing to give you an old man drug. Also get a decent sleep drug, you're not going to feel like doing anything if you don't get enough sleep.
