I can relate somewhat as my wife is diagnosed with Interstitial cystitis. She has been using morphine and valium to manage her pain. Her Dr. has most recently prescribed Tramadol. As one suffering many years with depression, the furthest thing from my mind was the likelihood of her being treated for depression. This past year has been extremely difficult for her as far as pain management.
Antidepressant meds are now part of her daily prescription, along with a hosts of other meds to help manage the I/C.
I wish you well and hope you experience many days of enjoyment.
