I am currently on 300mg effexor for 1 week. I realize it can be 3-7 more weeks before it works, if it does. My doc gave me dexedrine to keep me stABLE DURING THE PROCESS, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. The thing that works best are either Vicodin or Percocet, but obviously my doc won't give me these drugs. I don't know if I will be able to stand this pain much longer. Does anyone know of another drug that might help alleviate this intolerable mental anguish?
