I've heard that adding a stimulant to Lamictal helps with the word-finding difficulties and improves focus.

I can't read a book any more, my mind is so unfocussed and my memory is poor. At times I wonder if all it's doing is making me dumb. I think the biggest benefit has been with the ficor pain. That still hasn't come back after all this time. I miss the mental sharpness though.
