Hi Bob,The 5-HT 2b/2c receptors antagonistic action of Agomelatine doesn't 'increase' synaptic serotonin like SSRI. In fact, this action reinforces frontocortical adrenergic and dopaminergic transmission. Isn't fascinating ? :)
