One of the first meds I ever took was Anafranil. It was brutal from a side effects standpoint. I gained 50lbs right quick. The whole experience is fading from memory now since it was in the early nineties, but I remember being very unhappy about the anticholinergic effects also.I've thought about the Zoloft/Nortriptyline deal before, but then it seems like I'll have the worst of both the SSRIs and the TCA's.
