I guess it would have to be tried on an individual basis to see what good it does. PHd Andrew Cutler, author of Amalgam Illness, used Hydergine himselef when detoxing mercury chelation. During chelation rounds, he took Hydergine to eliminate "brain fog" and recommends it for that purpose. He also said at higher doses (10mg-20mg) it elevated mood.

There are all kinds of internet claims about what it does, and there are some decent studies at pubmed. The only actual person I am aware of with realworld experience is Andy Cutler.
